ROLE:

• To provide support in country infrastructure, including server, communication, PC and other peripherals.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Customer

• To provide management and support in country server infrastructure, communications and functional responsibility in SEA technical domain.
• To support Indonesia network infrastructure with regards to break-fix and incident management and has responsibility for assigned technical domain areas.
• To work with area team members for on-site support issues.
• To respond with the appropriate degree of urgency to problems and requests from the Indonesia for user support.
• To plot new servers or revised server configurations to meet business requirements and within the required security policies fro Indonesia
• To provides highly specialized technical knowledge in terms of daily IT support function and also provide leadership in driving standardardisations in process/procedures across the SEA the required security policies fro Indonesia
• To provides highly specialized technical knowledge in terms of daily IT support function and also provide leadership in driving standardardisations in process/procedures across the SEA in areas related to infrastructure

Process

• Executes business related projects and deployments for Indonesia and Area SEA.
• Partner with RO BIT in implementing regional projects
• Implement best practises for technical process/procedures in SEA
• Work with RO BIT and ITSC to evaluate and propose new technology refresh for business and it is in line with business requirement
• To maintain hardware and resolve problems either through personal action or by organising resolution through a third party.
• To deploy and commission new servers, including the installation of operating systems and other software.
• To ensure the functionality and accessibility of all peripherals (such as scanners and printers) plus hand held units.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 years experience in a technical support role
• Degree or Diploma in Information Services (or equivalent)
• Communication skills (English), spoken and written (brilliant)
• Technical expertise in:

1. Personal computer set up and preparation for use (hardware and software)
2. Courier and imaging scanners
3. Other Ground Operations and service centre equipment
4. Hardware and software troubleshooting
5. IBM/Intel compatible PC hardware
6. Microsoft operating systems (Windows 2003)
7. Microsoft Office products
8. Unix Operating System
9. TCP/IP and other protocols
10. Various types of network switching equipment
11. Outlook Exchange and Microsoft Mail Clients
12. Symantec Anti-Virus software
